Miss Verla Ulrich, Lead Teacher

I am very excited to be teaching at Journey Preschool. I feel that children are uniquely created and each with special gifts and abilities. My husband Jeff and I have been married 25 years and we have two sons, Tyler (24) and Seth (22), and a beautiful daughter Kayla (18). Along with teaching, I also enjoy scrapbooking, flavored coffee, and spending time in the mountains.

I have a Director Technical Certificate with a CDA in Early Childhood Education and 18 years of experience in working with young children. I have taught in a preschool setting for 10 years and directed various children’s programs for 6 years.

 

Miss Britney Geddes, Teacher

I am excited to be part of Journey Preschool. I love working with children and seeing them progress. I have been married to my husband, Rob, for 2 ½ years. He is currently in the Pharmacy Program at Idaho State University. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, Frisbee golf, playing the piano, and spending time with family. I graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Science and Disorder.

In the future, I plan to receive a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. My preschool experience includes working at a speech and language preschool for a year.
