Welcome to Journey,

we are excited to begin this journey with your child. Each day your child will be introduced to a rich environment that will allow opportunities for your child to learn and grow. Your child will be experimenting, exploring, practicing their developmental abilities and learning new concepts.

Journey recognizes the importance of quality early learning experiences and strives to provide an environment with a faith-based curriculum that will build a strong foundation for children to become faithful to God, lifelong learners, and leaders in the community. Our integrated classroom is intended to introduce children to learning experiences that will encourage each child to develop spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

We provide a strong Bible based academic curriculum. Each day we will include language, music, science, math, art, drama, and literature. Along with foundational skills, we also teach Biblical application, songs, and stories. Each lesson is prepared to challenge every child at his/her developmental or academic level. While some children may be at the preschool level and learning shapes and colors, other children may be working on more advanced concepts such as word families or simple addition or subtraction.

Children will be participating in activities from a wide range of curriculum programs including Zoo Phonics a reading/phonics program, Hooked on Phonics, and the Handwriting without Tears. We follow the Idaho Content Standards as a guide in our curriculum planning.
